Declan, Allison, and the entire Cornerstone Site Works team did an amazing job with our patio project from start to finish. The communication was fantastic, and they helped keep our project on time and on budget. Throughout the process, Declan helped guide our patio selections with suggestions and helped answer any questions we had. As a result, we now have a beautiful patio and fire pit! Our project was unique in that we had been deserted by a shady contractor that left us with a complete mess.  Declan and his team came in with a clear plan and gave us a fresh start to give us the patio we had always wanted. De lan and his staff are terrific to work with and they used only top quality products. We were also impressed with the equipment operators, and respect they gave our property while it was under construction.  There was minimal clean up needed when the project was finished. Cornerstone did an excellent job removing and replacing our seriously degraded original 200 ft long x13 ft tall timber wall plus shoring up two other areas where we were experiencing severe embankment erosion.  The total project included about 400+ ft of replacement and new wall construction. The staff was professional plus worked hard and constantly through the project. We hired Cornerstone Siteworks to complete all of the hardscaping components of our recent backyard pool project. We had an excellent experience with Declan, Austin and the rest his team. We had the pool shell poured and Declan pretty much took care of the rest. Pool coping, retaining walls (including incorporating lit water sheers into the pool wall), pavers, and propane assist firepit and artificial turf. He worked with the pool project manager and designer We had a VERY specific vision for the design of the project and Declan was awesome about executing on the vision - even down to working with us to get the precise curves & contours in the turf and pavers we had in mind. He was patient, gracious  and accommodating even when we felt like we were being particular about certain aspects of the project. We had CRAZY rain amounts this winter while he was working in our yard but he was always here as soon as it was reasonable to resume work (SO much mud) and very communicative about his schedule and what teams would be arriving (also he always picked up the phone when I would call - a rare breed!) Declan met with us to look at materials, suggested the AWESOME wall block we used for the retaining wall and had great suggestions for how to utilize materials and colors to define spaces. At the end of the project there were "punch list" items that were executed promptly and thoroughly. Declan recommended  and coordinated directly with the contractors that built the metal roof extension and the fence. Not only is our end result beautiful and exactly what we wanted but working with Cornerstone was a great experience. We would hire him again, no doubt. I've included photos of our project - just a quick note that the black area you see along the wall is just wet from the sprinklers. Where to start.  Declan and his crew did a great job with my landscape project.  My yard came with a few challenges that he was easily were able to take care of.  They are very professional and are easy to work with.  They have good ideas and made suggestions that made the project turn out better than I could of imagine. After meeting with several hardscape businesses about my removing my old backyard patio and creating a new beautiful patio, I knew when I met with Declan and heard his ideas that his company was the right one for my job. Declan discussed issues the others never mentioned like water drainage and how they integrate the solution into the design and construction of the patio. My job happened to be very labor intensive. It was impossible to get a tractor or skid steer or other heavy equipment carrying materials to my patio from the street. All the old pavers and sand and dirt under the old patio had to be removed and wheelbarrowed to a dumpster placed in the street. All the materials used in the new patio were hand carried and wheelbarrowed from their truck in the street to the patio. It had to be exhausting however Declan and his workers handled the hard work with smiling faces. They were on the job on time everyday and they put in full work days. Declan, Mike, and Pete from Cornerstone did some really amazing work in our yard over the past three weeks. Given the biblical rainfall over the past year, our yard has been almost continually underwater. Our small dogs were up to their stomachs in water almost every week. The only things we could reliably grow in our backyard were algae and a vibrant array of molds and mildews. It has become an embarrassment and so we called in the experts. They came in, regraded, added a two foot wide drain across the north, east, and south sides of our house, and then built on top the most amazing set of garden paths, sidewalk, and steppers. They also setup five natural areas, and sodded everywhere else. Almost the entire yard was remade from scratch. As far as people go, there is no one I would be more comfortable to invite to work at my house. They were both kind and very focused, and given the swamp they were working in, and the inclement winter weather, they still finished promptly and on budget. Declan and his crew were a delight to work with. We knew after our site plans were designed per our wishes that Declan was the person for the job.  All of our wishes for layout, water diversion, retaining wall, stepping stones, and grading were met.  Our neighbors have been sharing their delight at our new landscape. Declan and his small crew were always on the job early, cleaned up after a full day's work and I remarked several times how refreshing to observe the interaction and laughs these guys shared. We are delighted with the finished product and would highly recommend Declan and Cornerstone.
